great central spot for city walks and beautiful views

I loved being just a few steps away from the beach and amazing ice cream shops, it really added to my weekend strolls around york with my family. The views from the hotel were fine.

The location was fantastic, very close to old town The restaurant was good which is a major plus because of its amazing food, I tried excellant dishes.

It's ideal hotel with extremely accommodating staff and free internet. The location couldn't be more marvellous and beautiful on the coast in Maine. The service was amazing, I had 3 nice nights here. Took the advantage of the parking nearby.

great kitchen setup made cooking easy. light from blinds could bother sensitive sleepers.

Had a blast staying with friends in a spacious suite with a full kitchen! We enjoyed walking to the beach and checking out local shops. The gas fireplace was a cozy touch after a day out.

We encountered some noise issues from the restaurant below, especially at night. It did impact our sleep, so keep that in mind if you're looking for peace and quiet.

The suite was spacious and stylish, complete with a cozy living area and a kitchenette. Perfect location just a hop away from the beach and nearby shops! An absolute gem for a relaxing retreat!

As for parking, good luck dodging the citation snipers! That pull-out couch? Definitely seen better days!

Perfect for Families

The large suite we stayed in was a real treat, with a cozy living area and a kitchen, made dining in just so easy. Our rapport with the staff was commendable, especially Dan, who helped us out when we were in a pinch.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but considering the amenities, it was still reasonable.

The beds were firm and the living area was spacious and bright with several windows. The location was perfect for walking to fun attractions and the staff offered kind assistance throughout our stay 😊

cleaning could be improved a bit.

The hotel features beautifully furnished rooms with fine views of downtown and Short Sands that enhance the overall experience. While public spaces like the lobby lacked warmth, the room wasvery comfy and tidy. Dining at the on-site restaurant was a highlight, particularly enjoying the cured meats they served.

The Blue Sky restaurant served fantastic lobster pizza and featured live music that added to the atmosphere. Relaxing by the gas fireplace in our King Suite after a day at the nearby beach was enjoyable.

It was just a great fit for a brief retreat in York with real value for money. The flat screen tv in the bedroom was a nice touch for a cozy night in. Try to enjoy the tasty coffee at the bakery shop in the morning.

The location was incredible, at a short distance from Funorama Video Arcade. It was just next door to Short Sands Beach, the Zoo, the Goldenrod, and several restaurants within walking distance.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, it's gorgeous and the location is wonderful in the center of Short Sands area. All the staff was very courteous, resolved my issues. - Booked a room with a whirlpool tub. - Had a shower, a hairdryer, and a spa bathtub in the bathroom.

Convenient Location

This place is centrally located, making it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. The Wicked Good Ice Cream next to the hotel offered delicious treats. 🍦

The place is fairly clean with eclectic style building and very friendly staff, plus the great restaurant with amazing food is a major bonus.
